Dashwood Books
Overview
Dashwood Books is a small, well-loved staple of the photography community in New York City. It is the only independently operated bookstore curating a collection of only photographic art books. While rebranding Dashwood Books, I wanted to develop a system that spoke to the brand’s confidence, cleanliness, and urban charm. The bolded logotype emulates the bookstore’s firm reputation as a mainstay of the NYC photography community and the container grid system enables the brand to maintain freshness by allowing content to continually arrange and rearrange itself.
